Bursary Details:

Matric learners are invitied to take part in the The University of Free State star of stars competition.

Learners who are top academic achievers and residing in the Free State province will be considered. Applicants must have applied to study at the UFS before the closing date in order to enter the Star of Stars competition.

Only entries from learners in Quintile 1 to 3 schools (Dinaledi, township and rural schools) from the Motheo, Xhariep, Lejweleputswa, Thabo Mofutsanyana, and Fezile Dabi districts will be accepted.

Closing date: 31 August 2021.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Be in Grade 12 and have applied at the University of the Free State (UFS) in 2022 to qualify.
  • Good academic record
  • The principal’s signature and school stamp MUST be on your application form and serve as certification that all the information on the entry form is correct
  • Be a learner in Quintile 1 to 3 schools (Dinaledi, township and rural schools) from the Motheo, Xhariep, Lejweleputswa, Thabo Mofutsanyana, and Fezile Dabi districts

Download and complete the application form.

Attach certified copies of your final Grade 11, Grade 12 March, and Grade 12 June results to your entry form.
